PATCHES INDOOROOPILLY is one of Australia's largest stockists of patchwork fabrics and all your quilting supplies. PATCHES stocks more than 3000 bolts of fabric, and a large range of quilting books, patterns, kits and all things patchwork. We also specialise in fine fabrics, threads and laces for embroidery, heirloom sewing and smocking.
PATCHES is the western suburbs dealer for BERNINA sewing machine sales and service. As well as sales of BERNINA sewing machines and overlockers, PATCHES stocks a large range of spare parts and accessories. Our trained technician offers service and repairs to all makes of sewing machines and overlockers.
First opening as a general arts and crafts shop in the Brisbane suburb of Riverhills in 1986, the shop is now located in air conditioned premises on Moggill Road, within walking distance of Indooroopilly Shoppingtown.
In addition to shelves of fabric, samples for classes, many of the completed quilts and wallhangings are available as kits. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, with PATCHES' helpful staff on hand to help with fabric selection and advice.
PATCHES offers one of the largest ranges of classes in all levels of patchwork, embroidery, smocking and heirloom sewing. Classes are held at the shop, with day, evening and weekend times to suit customers.
PATCHES offers a reliable, fast mail order service and the fabric club for Australian and overseas customers is returning in 2006. We are pleased to offer online ordering for our customers. Australian customers - mail order from PATCHES and avoid currency conversion, freight and customs worries.
