Gracious Tree Frog Pattern

Queensland's faunal emblem is the gracious tree frog - hence our pattern. The "leap frog" makes a wonderful paper weight or ornament. We hope you enjoy making up this cute frog.
Requirements
A square quarter of two fabrics (one for the front, another for the back) will make two frogs.
A pair of craft eyes.
500g of split peas or rice to fill.
Instructions
A 1/4" seam allowance is used throughout.
- The pattern is in pdf format - you will need Adobe Acrobat to download it. Join the two pattern pages together as indicated.
- Cut out one of each of the top pattern piece, the bottom pattern piece, and the face gusset.
- Sew the straighter side of the face gusset to the belly pattern, with the right sides of the fabric together.
- Next stitch the eye section of the face gusset to the top side of your frog, right sides together.
- Now with right sides together, stitch around the frog leaving an opening on the side to turn to right sides out.
- Stuff with filling and slip stitch opening closed.
